Search any specialty plus a city on Instagram. You find dozens of identical accounts: professional headshot, "MBBS, MD — Passionate about patient care," and a grid of Canva quote cards. Zero personality. Zero differentiation.
The accounts that build practices look different. Personal. Specific. They feel like a real human being who happens to be a doctor. We manage Instagram for over 100 doctors. Here is what separates accounts that generate patients from those that generate nothing.
Every post fits one of four categories:
Educate (40 percent). The Myth Buster: pick one misconception, look into camera, bust it. The Explainer: break down a procedure in carousel or Reel. The Ask-Me Response: weekly Stories Q&A, turn best questions into Reels.
Humanize (25 percent). Day-in-the-life: real morning to evening. Personal stories: why you chose your specialty, a case that changed you. Team spotlights: introduce your nurse, receptionist, coordinator.
Prove (20 percent). Before-and-after carousels (consent required). Patient testimonial clips: 30 to 90 seconds, unscripted. Case study walkthroughs: anonymized, 5-8 slide carousels.
Convert (15 percent max). "3 same-week slots available Thursday. DM to book." Keep conversion posts to 15 percent. If 85 percent is value, the offer feels earned.
Static image reach: 5 to 15 percent of followers. Reel reach: 50 to 200 percent — including non-followers through Explore.
Algorithm rewards: watch time (keep under 60 seconds), saves, shares, genuine comments.
Hook formula: "Here is what nobody tells you about..." "Stop doing this if you have..." "I have done 3,000 of these surgeries. Here is what surprises patients most..."
Month 1: 3 to 4 Reels per week. Daily Stories. Target: 500 followers. Month 2: Add carousels and testimonials. Boost top Reels with 5,000-10,000. Target: 1,500 followers. Month 3: Content system running. First Instagram-attributed bookings. Target: 3,000 followers, 3 to 5 bookings per month.
After 6 months: 5,000 to 15,000 followers and 10 to 25 patient inquiries per month — pure organic.

Six reasons hospitals, clinics, and doctors pick a healthcare-only firm over a generalist agency.
It's all we do. No retail, no fintech — the whole team thinks in patient journeys, clinical trust, and the way people actually choose a doctor.
Receptionists, WhatsApp triage, and attribution built in-house — we answer patients in seconds and tie every click to a booked appointment.
HIPAA, ASCI, NABH and GDPR sign-off baked into every campaign — our standard, not an upcharge or an afterthought.
The senior who pitched you stays on the engagement. No bait-and-switch to juniors learning on your budget.
Patient-level attribution across calls, forms, and walk-ins. Monthly reports show booked patients — not just clicks and impressions.
We name our clients and show the work. Quarterly reviews with the numbers attached, every cycle.
Adjacent practices, the relevant tools, and the case files where we shipped this thinking against real patient-acquisition targets.
