Healthcare Account Manager

Remote (India) — Quarterly office sprints in Gurugram 3-5 years Full-time

You will be the primary point of contact for 15-20 healthcare clients — hospitals, clinics, and medical groups who invest $3K-$30K/month with us. Your job is to ensure they see results, understand their reports, and never feel like 'just another account.' You've managed healthcare client relationships before, you've freelanced, and you know how to talk to a hospital CMO, not just a marketing coordinator.

You're the bridge between our team's work and the hospital's growth. When you keep a client relationship strong, they keep investing in marketing — which means more patients find them. Every retained client is hundreds of patients who continue to discover quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own client relationships for 15-20 healthcare accounts — weekly/biweekly calls, monthly reviews, quarterly strategy sessions
  • Translate campaign performance data into healthcare business outcomes for hospital leadership
  • Coordinate internally across SEO, ads, content, web, and automation teams to deliver client goals
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities — 'Your SEO is working, let's add Google Ads to accelerate'
  • Handle client escalations with ownership — don't pass the buck, solve the problem
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports to hospital CMOs, Marketing Directors, and CEOs
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews — strategy refresh, goal realignment, new opportunity identification
  • Build genuine relationships — know your clients' hospitals, their doctors, their competitive position

Real Work Scenarios

Scenario 1A hospital CEO is unhappy because organic traffic grew 180% but he hasn't 'felt' the impact. You'll dig into the data, show him that 340 patients came from organic search last month, 87 of them booked surgeries, and the attributed revenue was $430K. Then you'll propose adding Google Ads to capture the high-intent keywords where they're not yet ranking.

Scenario 2A dental chain client's marketing coordinator leaves. The new person doesn't understand the reports. You'll schedule an onboarding call, walk them through every dashboard, simplify the report format, and ensure zero disruption to the relationship.

  • 3+ years in client-facing account management with direct P&L responsibility
  • Freelancing experience — you've managed client expectations independently, not just inside a hierarchy
  • AI-powered efficiency — you use AI to prep for client calls, analyze reports, and draft communications
  • Conflict resolution skills — you can handle an angry hospital CMO who isn't seeing results yet
  • Commercial instinct — you spot upsell opportunities without being pushy

Universal Requirements (All Roles)

Healthcare experience is non-negotiable — you must have worked with hospitals, clinics, doctors, or healthcare brands. We don't train from scratch on industry knowledge.

Freelancing background required — you must have freelanced in the past or be currently freelancing. We hire people who've built something on their own, managed clients independently, and understand what it means to deliver without a safety net.

AI-native workflow expected — you must be proficient with major AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, v0, etc.). We don't use AI as a gimmick — it's built into every workflow. If you're not using AI daily, you're already behind.

Office collaboration sprints — this is a remote-first role, but you should be willing to travel to our Gurugram HQ for up to 1 week per quarter for team sprints, client workshops, and strategy sessions. We'll cover travel and accommodation.

Results over credentials — we don't care about your degree, your English accent, or which college you went to. We care about what you've shipped, what results you've driven, and whether you can do it again here.
