You will design healthcare digital experiences that patients actually use — hospital websites, appointment booking flows, doctor search interfaces, patient portals, and mobile-first landing pages. You've designed for healthcare before, you understand that medical UX is a trust exercise, and you've freelanced enough to know that 'pixel-perfect' means nothing if the form doesn't convert.
Healthcare UX has unique constraints: patients are often anxious, in pain, or making decisions for loved ones. Your design must reduce cognitive load, build trust instantly, and make it effortless to book an appointment — even for a 65-year-old who's never used an online booking system. Accessibility isn't a checkbox; it's the default. And every design choice must account for mobile-first users in emerging markets with slow connections.
"Working at Branding Pioneers means my digital campaigns don't just generate leads—they actually help patients find life-changing treatments. That shared purpose drives everything we do in the Design & Engineering team."
The appointment flow you design determines whether a patient books or gives up. The doctor profile page you layout determines whether they trust the surgeon enough to schedule. Your UX decisions directly impact patient access to healthcare.
Scenario 1A 300-bed hospital's website has a 90% bounce rate on mobile. You'll conduct a UX audit, identify that the appointment booking is buried 4 clicks deep, redesign the mobile experience with a sticky booking CTA, simplify the doctor search, and target a 3x improvement in mobile appointment bookings.
Scenario 2A new fertility clinic needs a complete website UX — from homepage to treatment pages to IVF calculator to appointment booking. You'll map the anxious patient journey, design trust-building page layouts, and create a seamless inquiry-to-consultation flow.
Healthcare experience is non-negotiable — you must have worked with hospitals, clinics, doctors, or healthcare brands. We don't train from scratch on industry knowledge.
Freelancing background required — you must have freelanced in the past or be currently freelancing. We hire people who've built something on their own, managed clients independently, and understand what it means to deliver without a safety net.
AI-native workflow expected — you must be proficient with major AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, v0, etc.). We don't use AI as a gimmick — it's built into every workflow. If you're not using AI daily, you're already behind.
Office collaboration sprints — this is a remote-first role, but you should be willing to travel to our Gurugram HQ for up to 1 week per quarter for team sprints, client workshops, and strategy sessions. We'll cover travel and accommodation.
Results over credentials — we don't care about your degree, your English accent, or which college you went to. We care about what you've shipped, what results you've driven, and whether you can do it again here.
No politics, no hidden agendas. We share numbers openly — client results, team performance, company revenue. If something isn't working, we say it. You'll never have to guess where you stand.
We tell clients the truth even when it costs us the deal. We tell teammates the truth even when it's uncomfortable. Honest feedback is how we get better — fast.
Do what you said you'd do. Deliver what you promised. If you can't, say so before the deadline — not after. Your word is your reputation here.
Challenge bad ideas — even if they come from the founder. Push back on clients when their strategy is wrong. Take ownership of mistakes instead of hiding them. We reward courage, not compliance.
